Education
Clifton Hill Primary SchoolA four-storey vertical campus delivered for the Victorian School Building Authority, Clifton Hill Primary School sits within a tight inner-urban site and includes a gymnasium, rooftop garden, breakout spaces, and flexible classrooms—supporting a contemporary education model.
Delivered under a Construction Completion contract, the project involved navigating significant program, quality, and sequencing challenges. At handover, critical elements of the structure, services and internal works required review, re-scoping and coordinated delivery across all levels.
A key focus was mitigating water exposure to the Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) structure. A 12-week drying and remediation program was implemented using industrial dehumidifiers, with targeted works staged through the December–January shutdown to recover program. Independent inspections confirmed structural integrity and long-term performance.
The constrained site and vertical build required detailed coordination of hoisting systems, MEP reticulation, and internal reinstatement—including stair cores, lifts, and essential services. Site access, logistics, and safety were tightly managed to support staged works and meet program objectives.
Key trades were re-engaged and re-sequenced, scopes aligned, and delivery momentum restored across a high-pressure program. Completed on schedule and to a high standard, the project reflects capability in complex education delivery—where structure, systems, and clarity drive outcomes.
