Lincoln Apartments is a contemporary multi-residential development delivered by Figurehead for Cedar Woods, designed by DKO Architecture. Completed in July 2022, the project enhances apartment living in Williams Landing, incorporating Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) High Physical Support apartments tailored for NDIA participants. Understanding and integrating the specific accessibility requirements of SDA design was a valuable and rewarding experience, reinforcing Figurehead’s commitment to inclusive, high-quality residential spaces.

Built using a timber light-weight structure, Lincoln Apartments was delivered during a period of severe timber shortages, requiring strategic procurement and precise construction sequencing to maintain progress. The project also faced external disruptions, including high winds impacting tower crane operations, significant delays in plasterboard supply, and global supply chain challenges. Through proactive problem-solving, collaborative teamwork, and Figurehead’s structured approach, the project team successfully navigated these obstacles, delivering Lincoln Apartments within an ambitious 14-month program.
