Nestled in the vibrant precinct of Collingwood, 116 Rokeby stands as a testament to Figurehead Construction's commitment to pushing the boundaries of sustainable design and innovative construction practices. This 11-storey commercial office building not only meets but sets new standards in environmental building design, achieving Carbon Neutral status and Platinum WELL Certification. Its pioneering double-skin façade epitomizes advanced energy efficiency, leveraging natural ventilation to significantly reduce reliance on mechanical heating and cooling systems, thus embodying our commitment to sustainable development.

The construction of 116 Rokeby showcases our dedication to using sustainable and innovative materials. Employing high-grade concrete mixes, zinc-plated steel, and unique ceiling insulation made from recycled newspapers, we ensured that every element contributes to both sustainability and structural integrity. The building is also equipped with an AI-driven Building Management System (BMS) that integrates seamlessly with HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems across various zones, enhancing operational efficiency and environmental control within the building.

The success of 116 Rokeby is a product of meticulous planning and collaboration with top architects, engineers, and designers. Overcoming challenges such as integrating complex systems and ensuring precise installation of innovative architectural features required robust coordination and expertise. This project not only reflects Figurehead's expertise in managing complex construction tasks but also our ability to innovate and adapt to create spaces that are both functional and exemplary in sustainable design.
