Located in prime position on Errol Street in Melbourne’s lively inner-north, Errol Apartments is a 28 -apartment complex set over four levels above a single level basement car park.
This $6.5M development was designed to capture increasing interest from young first-home buyerslooking to call this bustling, stylish bar and restaurant precinct home. It features a clean, modern pre-cast panel façade, white timber floorboards and Miele appliances throughout.
Figurehead was invited by the developer to submit a cost-estimate proposal while this project was at the town planning stage, along with three of our competitors. On the strength of the professionalism we demonstrated during this process, Figurehead was nominated as preferred builder and won the project after submitting a detailed and comprehensive cost plan. We were then able to project manage the entire design process, coordinating all project consultants, contractors, permits and approvals, commencing construction in April 2012.
Once on site, contaminated ground soil threatened to significantly delay our construction program. We quickly and efficiently coordinated the excavation of the affected soil, as well as a large amount of rock from the contaminated area. Our rapid resolution of this issue meant construction delays were minimised, with no impact on theoverall delivery schedule or budget.
