Figurehead’s first industrial project of this scale, the Acmeda Logistics development involved the construction of a number of additions to the firm’s existing Broadmeadows facility. The $5M extension included almost 5000m2 of additional warehouse space, a striking, architecturally designed office and canopy area and extended onsite amenities for staff.
Figurehead won the project after negotiating a detailed and achievable cost plan to meet the client’s predetermined budget and delivery specifications. We then managed our hand-selected team of expert consultants through every stage of the construction process, from the preliminary design stages through to town planning, permit acquisition, construction and occupancy.
Works commenced on site in April 2008 and while we encountered no major challenges to our established construction schedule, this project represented a significant turning point in Figurehead’s development, an opportunity to demonstrate our ability to adapt and thrive within the high-stakes industrial arena.
“They have conducted themselves in a professional and approachable manner towards everyone and all departments concerned and the finished constructions were of high quality.”
